The body fat percentage is the ratio between a person's total body fat and total mass (commonly known as weight).

This calculator uses the 7-site Jackson-Pollock skinfold method to help determine the body fat percentage.

Please measure your triceps, thigh, suprailiac, pectoral, midaxillary, subscapular and abdominal using a body fat caliper regardless of your gender.

The 7-site Jackson-Pollock formula for body density is used in combination with the Siri equation to determine the body fat percentage, which can be defined as:
$$BFP$$ $$=$$ $$\dfrac{495}{BD}$$ $$-$$ $$450$$
$$BFP$$: Body fat percentage
$$triceps$$: the skin fold measurements of the triceps
$$thigh$$: the skinfold measurement of the thigh
$$suprailiac$$: the skinfold measurement of the suprailiac
$$abdominal$$: the skinfold measurement of the abdominal
$$pectoral$$: the skinfold measurement of the pectoral
$$midaxillary$$: the skinfold measurement of the midaxillary
$$subscapular$$: the skinfold measurement of the subscapular
$$age$$: your age measured in years
The SI unit for BFP is: $$%$$
